Modernize your car or loco shops with this complete kit, based on a Rock Island prototype in Oklahoma City. Featuring realistic details and parts molded in two colors, the kit is complete with LED interior lighting and a custom-built circuit that randomly flashes LEDs to simulate welding.
Easily wired, both lighting units feature bridge rectifiers so you don't have to worry about positive or negative leads. Simply connect to a power supply (sold separately); the welding circuit works best on 12 Volts AC or DC, and a resistor is included if you wish to use higher voltage. The interior lighting can be run from 7-19 Volts AC or DC.
The interior lights are mounted in special light bars for easy installation that looks more realistic. A special clear circuit protector holds the welding unit in place on the sidewall, to provide plenty of room on the shop floor. All lights can easily be seen through the kit's eight skylights and six windows, and both end doors can be opened and closed for more visibility or to move models in and out of the structure, which easily fits over most sections of straight track.
