One such offering was the 28-Ton Two Truck Climax. With a horizontal boiler, this version of the Class B Climax offered more power and efficiency than its T-boiler predecessors. The successful 28-Tonner was produced until 1904 and continued in scattered service into the early 1950s. Features include: · DCC ready · sound ready · 5-pole, skew-wound motor · prototypical center gearbox distributes power to two truck gearboxes · three cab styles (double-panel wood; single-panel wood; and steel cab with modern headlights, generator, and air pump) · die-cast frame, cab, and boiler · wood, coal, and oil load Choking Hazard - May contain small parts.
